Here are some interesting costume designs for you:
Flower Child
Materials Needed:
1 plastic E-Collar (for larger pets) or pet collar (for smaller pets)
9x12 foam sheets (multiple colors)
Plastic foam glue, glue gun or tape
Scissors
Black marker
Ruler
Transform your pet into an lovely flower child! To create the look, use an E-Collar or regular pet collar as your base for the petals. Cut a variety of large and small petals in different colors. Add green "leaves" throughout for a more realistic touch. Position your petals and leaves so they overlap, then begin gluing or taping them onto the base of the collar. If you’re using glue and an E-Collar, make sure to let your collar dry flat overnight. Once dry, place the collar on your pet and show off your "budding" best friend!
Martini Glass
Materials Needed:
1 plastic E-Collar
1 wooden dowel (size varies depending on size of pet)
2-3 Styrofoam balls (size depends on dowel)
Green & red acrylic paint
Turn your pet into a tasty concoction that’ll really get the neighborhood talking! First, use an E-Collar, also referred to as the “cone of shame,” to put around your pet’s neck. Next, paint the Styrofoam balls green to make the olives. This might take 5-6 coats depending on how green you want your olives to be. Then, take the red acrylic paint to paint the center of the olives. Let your olives dry, then push them through the dowel and put the dowel through one of the holes of the collar. VoilĂ ! Your cocktail is served!
